Dr. Leslie Apgar is a board certified OB/GYN in a large private practice in Columbia, MD. She has practiced in the area since 2000 and has extensive experience caring for a multitude of gyn complaints, including painful sex, decreased libido, urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and menopausal symptoms. Her special interests include minimally invasive surgery and the health and wellness industry. She expanded into the aesthetics industry in 2008 as her patients were asking for the many procedures performed at Pura Vida.
Originally from the west coast, she attended Washington State University for her undergraduate training, where she graduated from the Honors Program with a B.S. in Zoology in 1991. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Penn State University in 1996. She completed her residency training at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, in Hershey, PA. Dr. Apgar is Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She and her family live in Glenelg, MD.
